Damar Batu is stone or pebble-shaped with yellowish brown colored, stone-shaped hard resin, obtained from a particular variety of the Dipterocarpaceae family of trees. Damar Batu usually collected from the ground in fossilzed form close to the tree roots.

Damar Batu mainly used in manufacturing inks, polishes, varnishes, and water resistant coatings. It also be used as incense and caulking boats.
